We spent two nights at Tin Can Bay. We were quite disappointed in the area, we thought it would be a lot nicer. However, we did have a nice stay, and we got to see the dolphins (see next post). We also checked out Rainbow Beach, which is the gateway to Fraser Island. The camping at Rainbow Beach is much more appealing to us than Tin Can Bay. ( Read more... )

After being attacked by a killer Shepherds Pie (Glen was badly burnt on her arm when boiling hot mince splashed on her) a few days ago, my lovely sister needs a little tlc. So, Glen.....until I get there on Saturday, this is the best I can do. Love you.

We stayed two nights at a small beachside town called Burnett Heads. It wasn't necessarily the best place we've stayed, but we headed down to Bundaberg and called in at Bagarra and Elliot heads, and have decided if we are in the area again, we'll probably stay at Elliot Heads next time. So after leaving Agnes Waters we drove a short distance to a place called Baffle Bobs at Baffle Creek. The caravan park was on a large parklike property. They had their own golf course, and bowling green and lots of beautiful birds
